Hiking Los Santos FULL 7+ HOURS

Hiking Los Santos FULL 7+ HOURS | Live GTA Online Server

I recently took my character on a hiking tour of Los Santos, with an aim to see how long I could go without being hassled, on a live server. As a bonus, I got to take in some of the amazing scenery that Rockstar has provided in Grand Theft Auto 5 and Grand Theft Auto online.

As you may have seen in other videos, there were a few incidents along the way; but to my surprise, they were few and far between. Especially considering this was originally filmed during the day, on a weekend.

This video is the ENTIRE hike. Unedited and unabridged, at just over 7 hours long. It was a big day on the game, especially considering I wasn’t doing anything mission focused.

While I’m here, I’d like to give a quick shout-out to Mrs Old Grumpy Gamer, for taking the controls periodically, so I could have bathroom breaks.

On the format of this video…

After the intro, the background music fades out, and we’re left with the sounds of the game, only. For advertising and monetization, there will be a few interrupt adverts in the first 5 minutes or so, but after that, nothing.

Once we’re past a few adverts, the rest of the VERY long video will be advert free, and background music free, so you’ll be able to take in the native sounds of Los Santos, it’s wildlife, the ocean and the occasional vehicle or two.

Every encounter on a live GTA Online Server | Hiking Los Santos

I recently took my character on a hiking tour of Los Santos, with an aim to see how long I could go without being hassled, on a live server.

Over the 7 or so hours I was online, being completely passive, I had a couple of encounters with other players; and dozens of encounters with passive NPCs.

This video consists of every single encounter that I had over the 7 or so hours, passive or otherwise. You can overhear conversations, hear police running rampant, and watch some very skittish NPCs get stroppy with my character for no discernible reason.

So, here’s every encounter I had while doing a pacifist session on a Grand Theft Auto online live server.

ASMR No Talking Experiment on a Game Server

ASMR No Talking Experiment on a Game Server | Hiking Los Santos

We went hiking around Los Santos, the fictional city in Grand Theft Auto 5 and Grand Theft Auto Online and spent 7 hours (relatively) incident free, walking around the coastline.

That got us wondering…

Would the sounds from the game, the birds, the ocean; the sound of our character walking be effective or useful for ASMR?

So, let’s find out…

Here’s one hour of carefully edited sounds and scenes from Grand Theft Auto Online.

Please note, this is an ASMR No Talking EXPERIMENT. The team at Old Grumpy Gamers thinks there’s more than 50 triggers in this video; but we’re a gaming channel, not an ASMR channel.

Any genuine feedback, comments, or suggestions are appreciated.

This video is simply a highlight reel, containing some of the most amazing scenery I spotted while on the hike, circumnavigating the entire island of Los Santos in Grand Theft Auto online, on a live server.

I don’t have any mods installed, so what you see is the native, vanilla game. Stock-as-a-rock, some might say.

GTA Online Pacifist spends 7 hours on a live server | Hiking Los Santos

I recently took my character on a hiking tour of Los Santos, the idea was to see what would happen if I tried to circumnavigate the Island of Los Santos, without armour, and only a side-arm.

The challenge was to see how far I could get without drawing a weapon, without a hostile encounter with an NPC, and without being harassed by another player; all while on a live Grand Theft Auto Online live server, with other players.

To make sure I didn’t end up on a so-called private server; I timed my run so it would increase the chances of having players on-line all the time.

I waited until there was a major update from Rockstar, to Grand Theft Auto 5 and Grand Theft Auto Online, then started mid-morning local time, on a Saturday, in England.

I figured as people in the UK and western Europe would retire from the game, our US and Canadian counterparts would be jumping on-line for a Saturday afternoon session; so I’d be covered for the whole day.

So, what happened? Watch the video to find out.
